My old phone was a LG D520, a slider, and i got it 8 or 9 years ago. It still had the original battery, though it was starting to bulge. The protective layer of plastic they put on screens had fallen off a few years ago. The keys on the keyboard still worked. I find it easier to hit the correct keys on a small true keyboard than on a much larger virtual keyboard.
This new one is a LG Stylo 6. I like it, but I notice that when I sit down with nothing to do and pull out my phone, its to watch youtube. It used to be that I would fire up Drive and edit a document. The difference was that the old phone didn't have good reception, but it did have a keyboard.
I'm thinking of getting a really old style flip phone, one you can't even download apps for, where you have to type the same number key three times to get a 'c' or a 'f', and a little Bluetooth keyboard for it, and a large 9 or 10 inch tablet with a keyboard for home.
