I put together a free verse poem called "TAG" and put it on rec.arts.poems on 8/16/16. I wrote it after driving to work and seeing a train rolling by with the letters CBR tagged on a boxcar. No one bothered to reply to it. There's a bunch of trolling going on in that newsgroup. Probably all the good poets left Usenet years ago.
Also, work is picking up at the baseball bat place. I just found out a company called Bauer now owns it. There hasn't been a new hire since then. The good news is that I've been offered a chance to go to day shift and work in the shipping department.
